Kitchen Installations in Surbiton, Kingston & Epsom
Kitchen refits and rewires across Surbiton, Kingston and Epsom.
What it involves
Kitchen Installations
A new kitchen is as much wiring as it is units. Sockets move, appliances need their own circuits, and the lighting is worth planning around where you actually stand and work.
I strip the old kitchen out, run the cables while the walls and ceiling are open, then fit the units, worktops and lighting.
What’s included
- Taking out the old kitchen
- Cables first fixed through the walls and ceiling
- Dedicated circuits for the oven, hob and other appliances
- Sockets set where you need them, above the worktop and inside cupboards
- Under cabinet lighting and ceiling lights
- Units, worktops and splashbacks fitted
The wiring goes in before the units
Cables go in while the ceiling and walls are open, so nothing has to be chased into a finished room later. The photographs show that stage on one job, with the cables run through the ceiling joists before the plasterboard went on.
It is worth deciding early where the kettle, the toaster and any island sockets go. Moving a socket once the units are in means taking a worktop off.
